We decided to set up Pramila Kuruwa foundation in memory of our mother who was a social worker and died at the age of 60 in 1984.However the registered and official trust started its functioning in 1996 only . As per the trust deed we are mainly doing the work to help poor people in food grain, education and medical aid with our limited resources. As the foundation thinks that these are the basic needs for our people.
We also do awareness campaign on various issues.and for this we do several competitions like essay,poetry other personality development activities etc.
We are doing counselling work for some problems and issues of person or family. As per our objectives we do work for Jivdaya, Rural welfare,women and children welfare etc… both welfare and development work
We also help rural artisans, artists for their marketing and do liaison work for them.
Till now our main financial resources were very limited .The work is done with the help of our own people, family and friends,close relations.We do give income-tax exemptions certificates for donations received by us.
Ours is mainly the organisation which help poor and needy people with whatever possible resources we have..So we expect more fund and donations to serve the poor and needy ones more.
